HR COORDINATOR / ADMIN SUPPORT

With an in-house engineering department and a hi-tech production facility, you will be joining an exciting company driven to provide market-leading products to our customers. We are seeking an enthusiastic / motivated HR Coordinator and Admin Support to join our dynamic and growing team. Your passion for people will enable you to implement strategies that will benefit the work life of our employees and refine the culture of the business. You will manage the day-to-day HR activities of a medium size business as it continues to grow with support of our external HR consultant Your ability to bring new ideas and implement change will allow you to make the role your own. A passion for excellence and a high attention to detail will ensure success in this position and your experience in Administration and Finance will support our current team.

The Role

  • Maintain HR policies in compliance with legislation
  • Maintain accurate and up to date employee information
  • Maintain an understanding of the relevant industrial instrument and provide advice to payroll / managers) regarding its implementation
  • Initiate and implement improvements to the culture and engagement of the team
  • Identify and co-ordinate staff training requirements (Both internally and externally)
  • Provide support and advice for all employees and managers
  • Workplace rehabilitation
  • Assist with the recruitment process, employment agreements and on boarding
  • General administration / office duties when required

Selection Criteria

  • A Tertiary Qualification (or progress towards) within HR or IR
  • Ability to respond to enquiries and issues in a professional, confidential and efficient manner
  • Proven experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly developed communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Understanding of payroll and payroll systems – Eg MYOB

Supply Chain Team Leader

With an in-house engineering department and a hi-tech production facility, you will be joining an exciting company driven to provide market-leading products to our customers.

We are seeking an enthusiastic / motivated Supply Chain Team Leader to join our dynamic and growing team. Your ability to bring new ideas and initiate Continuous improvement and a passion for excellence and a high attention to detail will ensure success in this position.

The Role

  • Supervise team members as required including training, encouragement of multi skilling and oversight and delegation of daily tasks in line with priorities
  • Ensure a safe and tidy work environment, monitoring the correct use of PPE
  • Ensure team members follow and are trained in safe work practices
  • Liaise with other Team Leaders as and when required; pick and issue materials for manufacturing and assembly; liaise with purchasing on potential shortages.
  • Assisting with purchasing (on an ad-hoc basis)
  • prioritising workload and ensuring goods are despatched on time
  • Book freight on a daily basis
  • Complete relevant documentation as required; document and maintain accurate and organised records of relevant checklists and other associated paperwork including customer pick up log maintenance and management; and prepare relevant reports and data as required.
  • Housekeeping, product identification and storage; rotate stocked items and use oldest to newest wherever possible; conduct regular stocktakes
  • As this position can be physically demanding, a high degree of fitness is required.

Selection Criteria

  • Forklift experience and current licence (mandatory)
  • Logistics and stores experience in warehousing operations (mandatory)
  • Certificate IV in warehousing operations or other logistics qualifications (mandatory)
  • Knowledge and application of OH&S and safe work practices (mandatory)
  • Proficient in the use of computers including Microsoft Office, internet and relevant software programs (mandatory)
  • Experienced in the use of scanners and other logistics technologies (desirable)
