CRUISEMASTER - Independent Suspensions

Cruisemaster has become the name synonomous with Premium Independent Suspension Systems.

Why independent?

1) With Cruisemaster suspensions the wheel is directly located on the trailing arm. In the unlikely event of a spring failure the wheel remains attached and the suspension drops onto a special bump stop giving a 'get you home' mode.

2) As the spring is not used to locate the axle/wheel assembly there are less stresses acting on the spring.

3) Toe-in and camber adjustment can be provided to optimise tyre wear and handling.

4) Independent suspension tends to 'iron out' the rattling effect of corrugated roads.

5) Independent suspension allows for greater centre ground clearance.

6) CRUISEMASTER independent suspensions spread the loads into the chassis across the widest possible distance giving better support and lower chassis stresses.

7) Suspension geometries and thus handling are much better than a traditional beam system.

8) Axle induced movements are not directly transferred from one side of the vehicle to the other.

Fitted by many of the major caravan and trailer manufacturers around Australia, Cruisemaster is becoming the suspension of choice for discerning caravanners.
