Leaf spring suspension systems have been around for many years. They are simple, economical and reliable. The inter-leaf friction gives inherent damping thus avoiding the need for shock absorbers in most applications. The most basic arrangement is the slipper.
Tandem and triple arrangements are possible which can be load sharing in the case of the twin shackle/rocker arrangement. Axle centres in tandem applications can be further reduced using offset springs where available. All leaf spring bracketry can be supplied pre-mounted onto angle steel to ease installation. All Vehicle Components spring geometries are computer designed in-house to ensure springs will not turn inside out under extreme applications.
