Vehicle Components engineers extensively test all our products. Initially during the design phase on test rigs in our engineering department and ultimately out in the field under real world conditions.
This includes Remote Area Testing (RAT) which provides valuable information on the performance of products.
This year the RAT Run completed 7500 kms in 13 days circling the Simpson desert. The trip included the Plenty Highway, Finke Gorge NP, Uluru, the Mereenie Loop, The Old Andado Track and the Oodnadatta and Birdsville Tracks.

We will shortly be starting to identify those products which have passed these tests with the RAT stamp. The RAT stamp will guarantee that products bearing it are AUSTRALIAN designed, AUSTRALIAN manufactured and tested under AUSTRALIAN conditions.
Unlike most other products on the market these all carry a 2 year warranty against manufacturing defects (see website for conditions)..
